CS Plumbing designed and implemented a gravity-fed French drain system that captures and redirects water before it can permeate the home’s foundation.

The installation included several critical components:

A French drain system tailored to collect both surface and subsurface water from neighbouring properties, directing it via gravity to a concrete pit.
A 100mm PVC pipe leading from the pit to the curb, featuring precisely drilled holes for optimal water discharge.
Three new, larger-diameter Colorbond metal downpipes replacing the older, smaller versions, connected to new 100mm PVC piping that channels water to the curb.
A sturdy retaining wall system constructed along the boundary using concrete sleepers and galvanised steel posts, with auger holes drilled by an excavator to create a solid barrier against water from the adjacent yard.
Efficient soil removal on-site using a dumper to ensure effective site management.
